Job Title: Research Marketing Lead/Head of PR
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Remote
The Role
We’re looking for a Research Marketing Lead to own how our research, benchmarks, and technical work are positioned, launched, and adopted across the AI ecosystem.
This role sits at the intersection of research, GTM, communications, and strategy. You’ll work closely with our research team and leadership to identify high-impact opportunities, ensure quality before publication, and turn technical findings into narratives that earn attention, adoption, and citations.
For the right person, the scope can expand into company strategy, executive communications, PR, and Chief of Staff–style initiatives, becoming a close strategic partner to leadership as we scale.
What You'll Do
- Own QA for research and benchmarks before publication, ensuring rigor, credibility, and clarity.
- Define and execute GTM strategies for research, from launch through adoption and citation.
- Translate complex research and methodology into clear, compelling narratives without sacrificing technical depth.
- Help shape the research agenda by identifying topics and initiatives that will resonate with the market.
- Build relationships with researchers, AI labs, media, and influential industry voices.
- Track attention, adoption, citations, and real-world usage to inform future research and GTM decisions.
- Partner with leadership on company positioning, strategic communications, and other high-priority initiatives.
- Potentially expand into broader PR, executive communications, and Chief of Staff responsibilities as the company grows.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with technical research, benchmarks, AI/ML products, or similarly complex technical domains.
- Strong track record developing GTM strategies for research or technical products.
- Ability to turn complex technical concepts into clear, differentiated narratives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the AI research and technology ecosystem.
- Experience building relationships with researchers, technical leaders, media, or industry voices.
- High ownership and ability to drive ambiguous initiatives from concept to execution.
- Strong strategic judgment and comfort working directly with senior leadership.
Preferred
- Background in AI, machine learning, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Experience at an AI lab, AI-native company, research organization, or highly technical startup.
- Experience working directly with founders, executives, or research leadership.
- Familiarity with academic publishing, benchmarking, and citations.
- Experience with PR, media relations, executive communications, or strategic initiatives.
