Terms of use

These terms cover your use of RemoteJobsOne. Using the site means you accept them. They are short because the site does little: it lists jobs and sends you elsewhere to apply.

What this site is

RemoteJobsOne is an index of remote job listings published on hiring platforms. We are not the employer, not a recruiter and not an agency. We do not receive applications, do not screen candidates and have no say in who is hired.

What we can and cannot promise

Listings are copied from their source and refreshed daily. We show the pay, skills and location terms the employer published, and we correct what we can detect — a rate labelled hourly that is plainly annual, for instance. We cannot promise a listing is still open, that its pay is accurate, or that the employer will reply. A job can close minutes after it is fetched.

Treat everything here as a pointer to the original listing, and check the details on the employer’s own page before you rely on them.

Applying

Pressing Apply asks for your name and email address, which we use to send you your application link and a few reminders until you finish — see the privacy policy. The application itself is completed on whichever hiring platform published the role, and from that point that platform’s terms and privacy policy apply, not ours. Please use your own name and an address you control; applying on someone else’s behalf is not allowed. Never pay a fee to apply for a job, and never send bank details, identity documents or payment to anyone who contacts you claiming to be from this site.

No charge, and how the site is funded

The site is free to use and always will be. When someone we referred is hired, the platform that published the role may credit us for the referral. That costs you nothing, and it does not change which jobs appear or how they are ordered — the referral pays the same wherever a listing came from. This is set out in more detail on the about page.

Using the content

The design, wording and structure of this site are ours. The listings are their publishers’. You are welcome to link to any page here. Bulk copying, scraping or republishing the catalogue is not permitted, and automated requests that degrade the service for others may be blocked.

Getting a listing removed

If you are an employer or platform and want a listing taken down, write to us and it will be removed. We do not need a legal notice to act on a reasonable request.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. We are not liable for a role that turns out to be closed, mispriced or misdescribed at its source, nor for anything that happens after you leave for an employer’s site. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

These terms may change as the site does. The version on this page is the one that applies.
