Role Title: Simulation Expert — Real-to-Sim 3D Environments & Assets

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

The company is engaging Simulation Experts — Real-to-Sim 3D Environments & Assets to contribute to a customer’s project focused on advanced simulation and artificial intelligence training. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build and configure 3D assets and environments in simulation platforms (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, or similar)
  2. Translate real-world objects and instruments into simulation, matching geometry, scale, material, and physical behavior
  3. Collaborate with scientists and subject-matter experts to validate accuracy of simulated environments
  4. Tune physical parameters (mass, friction, collision properties, joint dynamics) so simulated objects behave like their real counterparts
  5. Troubleshoot discrepancies between simulated and real-world behavior

Qualifications:

  1. Hands-on experience with at least one robotics/physics simulation platform (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, Unity, Unreal, PyBullet, etc.)
  2. Background in 3D modeling, CAD, or environment design
  3. Understanding of physics simulation (rigid body dynamics, materials, sensors)
  4. Strong collaboration skills working with scientific/technical stakeholders
  5. Attention to detail in matching real-world fidelity
